Don Pardo

In the mid 70s I encountered Don Pardo, announcer for Saturday Night Live (SNL), as he vacationed in San Antonio. It took some time, but I finally coaxed him to come to KBUC for an interview. After the interview, Don was even kind enough to do show introductions for all the KBUC jocks.

I understand that Don is now 91 years old and lives in the Tucon, AZ area. Not only has he been with NBC since 1944, but Don also still travels to New York on a regular basis to do the intro for SNL.
